What is Clinical Nutrition?
Clinical nutrition is the application of nutrition science to support health, optimise physiological function, and address underlying contributors to imbalance or disease.
It involves a comprehensive assessment of dietary intake, lifestyle factors, health history, and presenting symptoms to develop targeted, individualised treatment plans. This may include support for digestive health, metabolic function, energy levels, hormonal health, and finding the root cause of your symptoms and addressing them with an evidence informed approach. Integrating current research with personalised care to support sustainable health outcomes.
Where appropriate, this may include the use of targeted nutritional supplementation and practitioner-only products to address specific deficiencies or support therapeutic outcomes.
Care may also be provided alongside, or in collaboration with, other healthcare practitioners where appropriate.
