Ingredients:
120g Butter (room tempurature)
160g Sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 eggs
300g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp bi carb soda
2 tbsp greek yoghurt
1/2 cup milk of choice
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
6g ceremonial grade matcha – the grade of matcha will change the potency of the green marble colour.
Method:
1. Add Butter and sugar to a large bowl or mixer.
2. Using a handmixer or stand mixer, mix butter and sugar together for 2-3 minutes, until pale and fluffy
3. Add eggs, one and a time, mixing in between. Add vanilla and mix for 30 seconds. Add greek yoghurt and milk.
4. Using a large spoon, mix the plain flour, baking powder, bi carb soda into the wet mix.
5. Split mixture in half into two bowls.
6. In one bowl of mixture, add white chocolate chips and gently fold them in.
7. In the other bowl of mixture, add the matcha powder and gently fold together.
8. Spoon mixture, as picture into a lined baking loaf tin.
9. Bake in the oven for 42-47 minutes, depending on oven.
10. Remove from oven once cooked and allow to cool completely before cutting.
